'Soshi Tam Tam' recorded its lowest viewer ratings to date.
According to Nielsen Korea, an audience rating research company, the 4th episode of JTBC's entertainment program 'Soshi Tam Tam,' which aired on the 26th, recorded a viewer rating of 0.8% from nationwide households.
This is a 0.1 percentage point drop from the viewer rating of 0.9% for the last broadcast and is the show's lowest rating yet.
'Soshi Tam Tam' is Girls' Generation's 15th-anniversary special entertainment program. Girls' Generation members gathered together to celebrate the 15 years of activity together.
Therefore, many fans are saying that it is okay for the show to have a low rating because the show was a gift for fans in the first place. Fans commented, "It's okay, the show was for fans anyway," "As long as fans are happy that's all that matters," "No one watches this show on TV they watch on a streaming platform," "This show was made so that fans can watch the group," "I think the show is fun," "I think the show is meant for fans," "I thought this show only aired on TVing, lol," "I think it's okay, the show is ranking number on OTT," "Only fans watch the show," and "I don't think the viewer rating should matter for this show since it's for fans."
While that's true, I did expect slightly higher ratings only bc they're the Nation's Girl Group and the comeback is highly anticipated. Anyway, it's probably no different than most groups having a show that's online as opposed to television.
