Comedian Maeng Seung Ji exposed a "sponsor broker" who sent her a DM saying he has a client who wanted to pay her 500 million KRW (380,000 USD) per date.

On July 17th, Maeng Seung Ji displayed the DM she received from a broker on her Instagram story.

This broker told Maeng Seung Ji, "I received a request, so I am contacting you. A man in his 20s from a wealthy Chinese-Singapore family of Chinese descent living in Korea picked you, and so I am contacting you. He says he can give you about 500 million KRW (~380,000 USD) for going on a date with him. He says he can pay in either cash or a check. Do you have any intention of accepting this offer?" He made a shocking suggestion of an inappropriate meeting.

Maeng Seung Ji retaliated by posting a screenshot of the message on her Instagram story with the caption, "he must be delusional because of the heat (Hot weather in Korea). Let's donate that 500 million KRW to somewhere that needs help."

Not only that, but she also received other direct messages saying, "I'm sending this message to you because you're my ideal type. I am carefully asking if it's possible to go on a date with you 2-4 times a month, 1-2 hours at a time. Every time we meet, I'll take good care of you" and " I'm working as a brokerage agent to introduce women and people with financial resources such as individuals who are CEO's of large corporations and foreign investors as sponsors, so I am sending a DM to you to offer you to meet with them." 

Maeng Seung Ji humiliated these individuals by posting their messages publically on her Instagram story.
