The first part of LDH's audition program 'ICON Z ~Dreams For Children~' with male contestants ended on May 22nd. The 2nd part, which is a joint project between LDH and HYBE Japan, will start airing on TV Tokyo on June 12th.
In July 2021, it was announced that Tosaka Hiroomi from Sandaime J Soul Brothers would be producing a new girl group in collaboration with HYBE Japan. Later in August, a behind-the-scenes video of the initial audition screening was released with Tosaka Hiroomi.
Later in August, an interview with Tosaka Hiroomi was released where he revealed the reason for working with HYBE Japan.
The 30 contestants who passed from 44,000 auditions were revealed through the show's social media. Two names stood out to fans, Oyama Ruan and Yamauchi Moana.
Oyama Ruan (2002.07.21)
Oyama Ruan made her debut in South Korea in 2019 under the stage name Ruann with her debut single 'Beep Beep.'
Unfortunately, in 2020 she announced that she could no longer promote as Ruann because of trademark issues with her label Bside.
Yamauchi Moana (2002.01.28)
Yamauchi Moana participated in Mnet's Girls Planet 999 in 2021.
Moana was eliminated in the 5th episode of Girls Planet 999. However, Moana seems to have left the show as her profile hasn't been updated. Here are the other contestants:

Out of the 30 contestants, five girls will be able to make it into the final group.
From HYBE Japan, Alysa will be one of the judges and the main producer for mainly for music on the show. Alysa took to her Instagram to show excitement over the show.
Since 2022 this will be the fifth group produced by an audition show as a joint project by a Korean and Japanese collaboration following JYP and Sony Music Japan's NiziU.

i remember Ruann. she debuted in Korea but after that she suddenly disappeared. i hope she debuts in this new group she's really talented.
