TWICE's Mina has tested positive for COVID-19.
On May 23 KST, JYP Entertainment notified fans of Mina's diagnosis via the group's official fan cafe. According to the statement, Mina had continuously tested negative on all COVID-19 testing required for her recent overseas schedule. However, a day after returning to South Korea, she began experiencing slight throat irritation and tested positive via self-test kit. She then tested positive via rapid antigen test. She is currently under quarantine in accordance with government health guidelines.
Meanwhile, over the weekend, TWICE members Momo, Tzuyu, and Nayeon also tested positive for the virus.
