The Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation has published its singer brand value rankings for May, based on big data analysis.
From April 21 through May 21, 2022, the Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation analyzed big data of currently promoting singers in areas including consumer participation, media activity, communication, community activity, and more.
In first place for the month of May, trot singer Lim Young Woong earned a total of 11,925,044 brand value points, after successfully making his solo comeback with the release of his 1st full album, 'IM HERO'. 2nd place went to BTS with 11,418,407 points, while 3rd place went to Psy with 10,749,221 points.
The top 20 Korean singers in terms brand value for May are as follows: Lim Young Woong, BTS, Psy, IU, BLACKPINK, Lee Chan Won, IVE, Red Velvet, Seventeen, Oh My Girl, Kang Daniel, Jung Dong Won, Big Bang, Song Ga In, aespa, Young Tak, Jang Min Ho, Lee Seung Gi, Lim Chang Jung, and TWICE.
I saw PSY's recent performance in a uni festival and I must say he really is another level of performer/artist. His charisma and the way he hype the crowd is really something.
