Highlight's Dongwoon just surprised fans with news of his solo comeback!
On May 24, Highlight launched an official schedule plan for the release of Dongwoon's 2nd solo mini album, 'Happy Birthday'. This will mark Dongwoon's first comeback as a solo artist in 3 years since the release of his 1st mini album 'Act 1: The Orchestra' in April of 2019, a month before his mandatory military enlistment.
Now, Dongwoon will be greeting fans with an exciting new mini album, with teasers kicking off on May 25 with the mini album's track list. More details for Dongwoon's 'Happy Birthday' will be revealed throughout this week and next, all leading up to the singer's solo comeback on June 6 at 6 PM KST.

Son Dongwoon is not only the handsomest maknae in Kpop; he's also the most talented: he's become a top vocalist unto himself, which in Beast/HIghlight, whose members are all veritable main vocalists (and whose main vocalist, Yang Yoseob, is arguably the best Kpop vocalist), is quite an achievement already; but he's also a fine composer and a good lyricist. And he's also very intelligent, articulate, and has a very engaging personality. Son Dongwoon fighting!
