K-Pop artists dominated the 2021 year-end boxscore chart for online concerts worldwide.
According to Touring Data on April 1st, K-Pop artists dominated the top 10 list of the highest-grossing online concerts in 2021. The ranking chart is based on the revenue of each artist made through their online concerts in 2021.
BTS took all top three highest-grossing online concerts of the year 2021. Their 'MUSTER SOWOOZOO' online concert earned a whopping $76,654,191 from 1,330,000 paid viewers in 2 shows performed on June 12th and 13th.
BTS's 'Permission to Dance on Stage' concert took second place with $50,281,708 earned from 914,400 paid viewers in 1 show performed on October 24th. 'Permission to Dance on Stage LA' took third place with $27,153,916 revenue from 581,000 paid viewers in 1 show performed on December 2nd.
Chinese girl group THE9 came in fourth with $15,321,913, and BLACKPINK's 'THE SHOW' took fifth place with $10,639,900. The Chainsmokers took 6th place with $8,258,810, followed by Seventeen's 'In-Complete' with $7,237,396. SHINee's 'SHINee World' came in 8th with $5,637,018. Finnish metal band Nightwish took 9th place with $5,519,453, followed by Baekhyun's '10 LIGHT' generating $4,427,774.
