Korean netizens are showing positive reactions to AKB48's recent stage for their 59th single, "My Ex-Boyfriend".

Earlier this year, AKB48 garnered attention with the announcement that former IZ*ONE member Honda Hitomi has been chosen for her first ever center position in AKB48's comeback single. Many fans around the globe revealed their excitement at the thought of seeing Hitomi shining as the center. 

Then, on March 28, AKB48 performed their upcoming new single "My Ex-Boyfriend" on Japan's 'CDTV' for the first time. 

First, with her lovely purple hair and professionalism on stage, Honda Hitomi definitely succeeded in capturing viewers' attention as the center. 

But what's more is that many netizens, who watched the performance to see Hitomi, were actually greatly impressed with AKB48's stage all around!
