Musician/producer Jay Park will be greeting viewers soon as the host of a brand new breakdance competition program, 'Showdown'.
According to media outlet reports on February 4, JTBC will be launching its very own dance survival reality 'Showdown' some time in March. Some of South Korea's biggest breakdancers and crews will compete in fierce battles to prove once again that South Korea is a dance powerhouse.
A former breakdancer himself, Jay Park is expected to lead JTBC's 'Showdown' with his comfortable, friendly energy. He'll also provide viewers with helpful commentary during the dance battles including rules, breakdancing's background, etc.
A total of 8 breakdancing crews will compete on JTBC's 'Showdown', including some of the biggest names in South Korea's breakdance scene: Jinjo Crew, Fusion MC, Gamblerz, Rivers Crew, FlowXL, and more. Some of these dance crews are home to members of South Korea's national breakdance representatives currently on track to head to the '2022 Asian Games', including BBOY LEON and Fresh Bella of Fusion MC crew.
Get ready for legendary breakdance battles week after week when JTBC's 'Showdown' premieres, later in March!
