BLACKPINK's Lisa, has once again set a new record on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform, with her first solo album's b-side "MONEY!"
According to YG Entertainment on November 14, Lisa's solo "MONEY" surpassed 200 million streams on Spotify on the same morning morning. It has only been 65 days since it was released on September 10, and it made the record for the shortest time for a K-pop solo artists to reach 200 million streams on Spotify.
It is also a new record for female K-pop artists. The shortest period of time it took for a track to reach 200 million streams previously by a K-pop female artist was BLACKPINK's "How You Like That" which took 87 days. Lisa wrote a new history on a Spotify by refreshing her record by about 22 days faster.
Meanwhile, the same track "MONEY" also made Lisa the longest-running K-Pop female solo artist on 'Billboard Hot 100', congratulations Lisa!
