Former IZ*ONE member Ahn Yu Jin, who is also the leader of the newly debuting girl group IVE, has decided not to take the CSAT this year to concentrate on her promotions with the new group.

Starship Entertainment stated on November 15, that, "Ahn Yu Jin, who was supposed to take the 2022 college entrance exam, has ultimately decided not to take the CSAT."

The agency elaborated, "After a long discussion with Ahn Yu Jin, she decided to make this decision to concentrate on her promotion with the newly debuting group. She plans to continue her activities and will later enroll in college when she is able to concentrate on her studies."

Ahn Yu Jin attended Seoul Performing Arts High School and dropped out in October 2019. She later said she passed the high school graduation exam last September and became eligible to take the college entrance exam.

Meanwhile, Ahn Yu Jin will be debuting with the new girl group IVE, which is continuing its debut on December 1.

It's a fair decision; Yujin now has 5 padwans to care for. And IVE is likely to be the monster rookies of 2021 too!

Probably the first time a debut group has 2 members hosting Inkigayo and Music Bank!

Why take the exam if you’re not going to college lol.

Unless you know you may switch careers later and can use the score a few years down the line.

Anyway, debut + exam seems like a bad combo, so prob the best decision
