BLACKPINK's Lisa has officially entered the Guinness World Record for the achievement made by her first solo album's title track "LALISA".
On October 8, the Guiness World Records announced on its website that Lisa's "LALISA" music video is currently the most viewed YouTube music video by a solo artist in 24 hours. The music video for "LALISA" recorded 73.6 million views on YouTube within just one day of its release. "LALISA" broke the record previously held by global pop star Taylor Swift's "ME!" music video, which had achieved 65.2 million views in 24 hours back in April of 2019.
Officials from the Guiness World Record stated, "The achievements made by Lisa and Rosé will be included in the 2022 Guiness World Record book, under the social media section."
What an impressive achievement!
This just proves that YouTube views really don’t mean anything these days. Let’s be honest LALISA was a terrible song and yet it got all those views just because of who released it. If it had been Money I’d have understood a little more because that song is as catchy as hell, I’ve had that on repeat for days but LALISA was trash imho
Anyway I still love Lisa despite the underwhelming debut so congrats.
