The Met Gala is an annual fundraising gala that marks the opening of the Costume Institute's annual fashion exhibit and also an event to benefit the Metropolitan Museum of Arts. The Met Gala has become known as one of the most prominent and exclusive events in the world and one of the largest fundraising events in New York City. 

Each year many prominent figures join the event as they show off their fashion that is fit for the theme of that year, and this year, the theme was titled 'In America: A Lexicon of Fashion.' Once again, many celebrities attended wearing beautiful attire fitting the theme.

The classic American denim gown was tied with a traditional Korean Hanbok knot in the front, while CL's hair was inspired by the traditional Korean headpiece worn by Queens.
