BTS's V is a hot topic after topping a survey as the best male idol star to play the lead role in a Hollywood K-pop movie.

In the entertainment mobile app STARPOLL, a survey took place from August 17 to 30 asking, "Who would be the best male idol star to play a lead role in a Hollywood movie produced by CJ?" V topped the survey receiving 48,295 votes which was 89.4% of the total votes.

V has been attracting attention from the domestic and foreign film and drama industries as an all-rounder with outstanding looks and great acting skills that were recognized by the director for his acting debut at the drama HWARANG: The Poet Warrior.

It is widely known that a foreign production company purchased the rights to 'Vampire' for a drama with V as the main character as his image is captivating just by the look at it. However, due to BTS's hectic schedule, V has postponed his acting projects for now.

Meanwhile, the domestic drama production company that cast V is known to have focused on the image of an innocent and bright boy. It's clear that V's diverse image is a big advantage as an actor.

The French- Canadian director and actor Xavier Dolan, who won the Grande Prize at the Cannes Film festival, selected V as the Korean artist he would like to work with someday.

The famous Korean filmmaker and Director Baek Jong-Yeol, widely known for his movie 'Beauty Inside,' has been keeping an eye on V for a long time ever since V re-enacted a famous scene in the movie 'Wish' in the entertainment show 'Knowing Bros.'

The story of V, who was scouted at an audition where he accompanied his friend, to being a hidden member for a long time before BTS debut then growing and becoming the best K-pop, is a movie itself.

V has always maintained the top spot in votings for idols people would like to see as an actor. In an interview with Rolling Stone in May, V said, "I want to try acting again after 30." Many fans and production companies are eagerly waiting for the era of actor Kim Tae-hyung.
