The upcoming drama 'Yumi's Cells', starring Kim Go Eun and Ahn Bo Hyun, has released quirky new individual character posters of both Yumi (played by Kim Go Eun) and Gu Woong (played by Ahn Bo Hyun). Above their heads, various small cells with different individualities are seen, adding to the excitement of the drama's premiere.
First, the cells above Yumi's head show cute charms that resembles Yumi's. There are love cells and prime cells (cells that represent the person) that are in charge of Yumi's various thoughts and emotions, including anxiousness, rationality, sharp sense, hysteria, and even a cell in charge of 'fashion'. Next, the cells above Gu Woong's head include one in charge of Gu Woong's visuals, training cells in technology skills, love cells, and panicked cells. Director Lee Sang Yeob stated, " 'Yumi's Cells' is a drama that draws on the life of Yumi, a normal office worker, and the story created by her cells where everyday is full of humor and loveliness. It will humorously portray Yumi's dramatic moments that occur on a typical normal day, and show her love and growth story. Further, the drama will bring warm laughter and be relatable to many."
Meanwhile, TVING original drama 'Yumi's Cells' will premiere on both TVING and tvN on September 17, at 10:50PM KST.
