The upcoming 48th annual 'Korea Broadcasting Awards', hosted by the Korea Broadcasters' Association, will open viewer voting in 4 award categories for the first time ever!

According to the Korea Broadcasters' Association, viewer voting for categories including 'Best Drama', 'Best Game Variety', 'Best Reality/Variety', and 'Best Music' will take place from July 26 at 10 AM KST until August 1 at 12 PM KST, for one week. 

Productions nominated for 'Best Drama' this year include: 'River Where The Moon Rises', 'Once Again', 'Penthouse', and 'Here's My Plan'. Nominees for this year 'Best Game Variety' include: 'Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant', 'Hangout With Yoo', and 'National Trot Festival'. 

Productions nominated for the 'Best Reality/Variety' are: 'I Live Alone', '1 Night, 2 Days', and 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2'. Finally, nominees for 'Best Music' include 'Na Hoon Ah's Korea Again', 'Archive K', 'EBS Space', and 'Asia's Top Band'.

The winners will be determined via a combination of viewer voting (20%) and professional judging (80%). Meanwhile, the '48th Korea Broadcasting Awards' is slated to take place this September 3, airing via MBC.
