BTS Jungkook’s solo song “Euphoria” keeps reaching new milestones and remains popular, even being released nearly 3 years ago. It is the first K-pop male idol solo song to be eligible for Gold RIAA certification after it had sold over 500,000 units in the U.S. It is also the first and only BTS solo song to receive a RIAJ Silver certification.

On Billboard World Digital Song Sales, it remains the longest-charting K-pop solo song, having spent 73 weeks on the chart!

Forthe week of July 17, 2021, “Euphoria” charts at #1 on Billboard World Digital Song Sales, the highest peak ever since its release.

Jungkook’s other solo song, “My Time,” had achieved the same feat back in August 2020, being the first BTS solo song to hit the #1 spot on Billboard World Digital Song Sales.

“My Time” is also the first BTS solo song to reach #1 on U.S. iTunes.

“My Time” is also charting on Billboard World Digital Song Sales this week, at #5. It ties as the second longest-charting K-pop solo song on the chart, having spent a total of 69 weeks.

Jungkook holds both #1 and #2 longest-charting K-pop solo songs on Billboard World Digital Song Sales with “Euphoria” and “My Time,” both having spent over a full year on the chart, making Jungkook the only K-pop idol to do so, which is a very remarkable feat. 

Jungkook now has 2 solo songs and 3 of his composed songs— “Your Eyes Tell,” “Stay,” and “Film Out”— having charted at #1 on Billboard World Digital Song Sales. This speaks volumes of Jungkook’s success both as a singer and composer.

It doesn’t stop there as Jungkook keeps setting new records. On another Billboard chart, the Digital Song Sales which is harder to infiltrate; Jungkook becomes the first and only Korean Idol to have 2 solo songs charting for multiple weeks, i.e., “Euphoria” and “My Time.”
