Rising actor Kim Young Dae of SBS's 'Penthouse' series has been offered the male lead role for a new tvN drama series, 'Falling Star'.

On July 15, a representative of Kim Young Dae's label Outer Korea stated, "It's true that he was offered a role in 'Falling Star'. We are currently negotiating the offer."

'Falling Star', the next project headed by director Lee Soo Hyun of 'Find Me In Your Memory' and 'The Witch's Diner', reportedly tells the story of those who work behind the scenes so that the bright stars of the entertainment world can shine. Kim Young Dae has been offered the role of a popular actor named Gong Tae Sung.

Meanwhile, earlier today, it was also reported that Kim Young Dae had recently dropped out of KBS2's 'School 2021'.
