In early February this year, Japanese fashion and lifestyle magazine 25ans did a fashion investigation of notable brands that Korean stars love to wear on their airport runs.

Among those featured was BTS' Jimin, whose fashion taste and ability to pull off high-end brands casually was seen as admirable. The article highlighted 5 of his latest looks:

• Jimin leaving for New York with BTS on February 20, 2020; he looked chic and sophisticated in this black coat by Dior, forest green knit top, Manomos sunglasses, and beret from Universal chemistry.

• BTS' departure from Gimpo airport to attend a fan meeting in Japan on November 25, 2019. Jimin stunned in all black wearing a Chanel knit sweater and Yves Saint Laurent jacket

• Jimin was weather-ready and laid-back in this fluffy Mastermind jacket, Yves Saint Laurent bag, black and white Acne Studios sneakers, and black track pants as they headed for their broadcast of Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve performance in 2020.

• On their way to Japan for the BTS World Tour on July 14, 2019. Jimin donned an oversized blue denim shirt, a black backpack both from his beloved brand Saint Laurent, Gentle Monster shoes, a cute beanie, and sunglasses, summing up this boyfriend look.

Jimin's airport fashion has also caught the attention of experts in the industry. On the 7th of February, British fashion expert George Hollins reviewed Jimin's airport fashion moments. He described Jimin's fashion as clean, sleek, sophisticated, and expensive. He thought that the way Jimin paired shirts and trousers was complementary; long jackets created perfect silhouettes on his body while his choice of accessories was impeccable with a customized touch.

Elle Japan also recently named Jimin as a fashion leader who attracts timeless style by pushing boundaries. Moreover, Jimin has often been singled out by fashion brands and media outlets for his unique fashion sense and has, on many occasions, been rated as the most stylish idol. In fact, GQ cited him as one of the best-dressed men for the week of 22nd July 2019.

The Business of Fashion inducted Jimin into the BOF500 class of 2019 as part of the personalities who contributed to shaping the fashion industry. This was an incredible feat for Jimin as the BOF is the most authoritative organ that sets the agenda for the global fashion industry.

His great taste has inspired rookie idols in fashion. In a recent Weverse interview with ENHYPEN's Jay, the idol revealed that because of Jimin, he got into the Rock Chic style genre. It was revealed in his own words, "Even when Rock Chic was widely popular with St. Laurent, I had been indifferent, but I began to take interest because of BTS' Jimin. Through his street fashion, I realized that Korean charm can be reflected in Rock Chic."

BTS' Jimin is known for his outstanding and exquisite vocals, top-tier songwriting, and production skills, not forgetting his spellbinding stage performances.
