King of Kpop BTS Jimin’s positive influence is truly forceful.

On November 2, Jimin’s fanbase in the United States of America, Park Jimin USA, @ParkJiminUSA95 donated under Jimin’s name to assist those affected by the immense destructive effects of the super typhoon Rolly (internationally known as Goni) which recently hit the Philippines. On Twitter, they said “To extend our help to our friends from the Philippines who have been recently battered by Super Typhoon Rolly (Goni), we have donated under Park Jimin’s name to SaveChidrenPH to help the children and families affected. Because we cannot make them wait.”

The fans also encouraged others to send their donations to help more victims. Save the Children is the world’s leading independent organization for children. In the Philippines, when crises affecting children strike, they are the first to respond. In the light of the recent destruction caused by the onslaught of the super typhoon Rolly, Save the Children, accepted donations to help children and families affected by Super typhoon Rolly. The organization will respond to the vital needs of children and their families as they move forward from this calamity.

Super typhoon Rolly is the most powerful storm which hit the Philippines in 2020. The strong winds and heavy rainfall brought by this typhoon destroyed lives, houses, buildings, vehicle, properties, crops, roads and bridges. Many families have evacuated their homes to safer places.

Likewise, BTS fanbase ARMY Bayanihan @ARMYBayanihan from the Philippines also opened a fundraising activity in order to provide food packs to the areas affected by the typhoon in the Philippines. They are requesting donors to buy rice from their farmers which will then be donated to the victims of the typhoon.

Meanwhile, Jimin’s fanbase from Turkey, Fairy Chim TR @fairychimtr, also posted about an ongoing call for donations to help the victims of a big earthquake that occurred in Izmir, Turkey last October 30. Help is very much needed to rescue people from collapsed building and became homeless and injured. The fanbase is seeking support to be shared with for Turkish Red Crescent and AKUT Search & Rescue Association, the organization which will provide assistance.

These immediate responses and generous actions were influenced by Jimin’s donations which he practices for years already. Jimin, on different occasions, has donated to education fund of students in need even outside his hometown and replaced the chairs and desks for all the students. He promotes such admirable fandom culture by saying “We should give as much as we receive”.

The crowned King of Kpop has made sure his positive influence spread to the fans around the world and it is so amazing that Jimin is using his platform very effectively.
