BTS Jimin’s solo song “Filter” ranked 3rd and has glued its spot for 22 weeks on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart as of August 11th.
The World Digital Song Sales chart ranks the 25 best-selling international digital songs in the United States on a weekly basis. The chart is based on some pattern of consumption analyzing not only the units of song sales but likewise the song streams.
Filter is a solo track from BTS’s fourth full-length album, Map of the Soul: 7, which was released on February 21st 2020.
Filter has earlier topped the USA Amazon’s Songs Bestseller and International Bestsellers categories on August 9th. As of this writing, Filter holds the 3rd spot on Amazon Best Sellers of 2020 (So Far).
Lastly, Filter continues to peak at Number 1 in iTunes Digital Sales. Records show that Filter has impressively topped iTunes Sales in 91 countries and regions worldwide. It has recently overtaken Psy’s record of 86 iTunes number one. Thus, Jimin becomes the sixth Korean male soloist with most number #1s on iTunes.
As previously stated, song streams are equally important. Filter records show it has exceeded 70 Million streams on Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform. Further, its official audio has surpassed 30 million views on Youtube.
Meanwhile, Filter has also achieved more than 1 million streams on Gaana, India’s largest music streaming platform with 150 million monthly users. Filter is also identified as the most streamed Korean solo song on Anghami, the largest music streaming platform in the Middle East. Lastly, Filter has reached more than 126,000 Shazams and is the most shazamed solo song from the Map of the Soul:7 album.
On the last note, Filter has achieved all of these and more without any promotion, stage performances and a music video. Congratulations Park Jimin.
That’s incredible. Congratulations, King!
