Members of Kim Jaejoong's Chinese Fan Club attracted attention by donating anti-corona materials such as masks to Gongju City, Chungnam, his hometown.
A member of the Chinese FanClub , Korean operator Jang JiNam, visited Gongju City Hall on the 2nd and delivered 2,000 copies of Kim Jaejoong's album (Aeyo) along with protective materials such as 10,000 masks, 10 automatic foam hand washers and 10 infrared thermometers, they added: “We hope that citizens who are tired battling against COVID-19 will heal and recharge their energy through music.”
They explained that when they were suffering from COVID-19 last February, Kim Jaejoong and his Korean fans sent over mask support donations to China, which greatly impressed and encouraged them.
Mayor of the City Kim JungSub conveyed: “ It's very meaningful that the Chinese Fan Club of Kim Jaejoong, who was an ambassador for Gongju city, sent in a helping hand to the locals who are tired battling against COVID-19, I will deliver that deep love to the social welfare facilities and low-income residents".
Jaejoong took his Weibo to thank his Chinese fans for their donations, he expressed: "You guys are also thinking about my hometown in the distance (from far away), Chinese Fans, I'm very moved.
The population of Gongju City is not very large. The masks you sent will definitely help us a lot ^^
