I`m not saying this because I`m a big fan of the winning team. No, it really is like that. If you watched the show you will probably agree with me and it's such a pity a lot of ppl missed the show, me included. They brought together great artists to form a band, but it's not only one band that came out of the show. The only criticism on the show was the lack of female contestants. The show had 14 episodes, each 80 mins long and was aired in 2019.
About the show
Super Band invites genius indie musicians, from street singers to sensational cellists, to collaborate and create original harmonies together as a band. Once each individual musicians pass the preliminary rounds, the contestants will form a band of their own choice and compete against each other in the battle rounds. After the losing team members are eliminated, the remaining contestants form a new set of bands for the next battle round. The final 4 bands head to the final live show for a chance to win 100 thousand dollars, release an album and embark on a world tour.
In the end, one Super Band will win it all, but nobody knows how many will be in the band, or what genre of music they will play. As the musicians inspire and challenge each other to play at the top of their game, it’s the viewers that are the real winners as the musicians’ euphony graces the airwaves. (from JTBC Homepage)

My Conclusion
It was great to see so many amazing musicians come together in one show and form different kind of bands, creating amazing music, covers and performances. And I`m glad to see, not only the winning team staying together as a band, but also the other final teams and giving us great music. Their goal was to create one new band, but they created 5 new amazing bands in the end! I`m hoping for a 2nd season, this time hopefully with female musicians too.
Ayyyyee !!! Your awesome !! Thanks for the article !!! I was seriously impressed too...one performance I remember that was super unique to the show was the 4 or 5 guitars performance...I think it was adventure of a lifetime, they had no singers just guitars and it was just wonderful. I remember cold play I think tweeted about the performance as well. Also please check out lee Chan sol and woo sung songs for itaewon classs ost!!
