JYP Entertainment's Kpop powerhouse girl group TWICE amassed an impressive surge in unit sales in the United States after announcing their June comeback.
TWICE's 5th EP "Summer Nights" which was released in 2018 saw an increase of 148.7% in US unit sales while their 2017 Japanese compilation album "#TWICE" was up by 226%.
Based on reports back in February, JYP Entertainment confirmed that they signed a partnership deal with one of the biggest record labels in US, Republic Records, to further expand TWICE's worldwide reach.
The figures that were deemed impressive considering canceled events and lack of activities due to the pandemic signals high anticipation of their upcoming release entitled "More & More".
