CIGNATURE (시그니처) is a 7-member girl group under J9 Entertainment. The group consists of Chaesol, Jeewon, Ye Ah, Sunn, Seline, Belle, and Semi. They debuted on February 3, 2020 with lead single “Nun Nu Nan Na”.

Cignature is a group build around former Good Day members, so five of seven girls re-debuted with "Nun nu nan na". So why the song which not only isn't bad but even is more than good didn't get too much attention?

First of all - terrible debut timing - and in the next few months, it will be hard to pick worse timing to debut than J9 Entertainment. Cignature debuted on 3rd February and they were highly overshadowed by comebacks of Everglow and GFriend which were held on the same day. What was even worse is the fact that next week Loona, Cherry Bullet and Rocket Punch also made their comebacks which basically put this young rookie group in the middle of girl group battlefield.

Second - too many closed spaces and lack of "daylight" in a music video + bad usage of light in general. 
Why I'm pointing this out? Don't get me wrong there are pretty damn good moments like this Chaesol dance sequence and full group moments.

But also there were a lot of moments which made us feel like girls are cramped inside of goshiwon. We all know how producers build those "room boxes" inside bigger halls and studios. And here we have the case when they did many mistakes that made even viewers feel like they are also in this closed space. Also, there are moments with a visible lack of camera focus on girl's faces and lack of additional light that should be placed behind the cameras and light beam should be set going towards idols. Let's hope that in the future label will make improvements and in the next music video, we will see girls faces filmed from better angles or more highlighted, at least like we can see it down here.

In the end, I would like to point good vocals and an interesting beat. Also, I think I should mention the beauty of members, and I believe that through their career their beauty will bloom even more like flowers in spring. Also, I've picked the main article photo with a white background because when I was watching a music video I quickly find out that producers made a mistake and they've used too much orange, blue, pink and purple backgrounds. They should have at least one place on a set with a lot of white color.

I will be definitely waiting for Cignature's comeback to see if J9 Entertainment will make improvements in those areas. We can clearly see and hear that those seven girls have a lot of potential and talent, they just need time, hard work and good directors and producers to highlight their flair and artistry.
