Kim Jaejoong released his 2nd mini-album 'Aeyo' on January 14 and has topped Gaon and Hanteo weekly album physical sales for 2 consecutive weeks. Fans were angry and disappointed seeing Jaejoong's Album 'Aeyo' excluded from KBS Music Bank Weekly Chart without any justifiable reason. So K-fans have raised a petition on the KBS website asking for a fair and accurate ranking and an apology through the press. The petition > http://petitions.kbs.co.kr/sec...
This is the translation of the petition:
'' Fans of Kim Jaejoong, who released his album [Aeyo] on January 14 and achieved 86,603 albums sold as of January 19, were looking forward to KBS Music Bank Chart. The reason for the expectation is that the K-chart counting method is [65% of digital Sources + 5% of physical sales + 20% of broadcast performance + 10% of viewer preference surveys] as announced in Music Bank homepage.
KBS is a public broadcasting service that has been known for its fairness and transparency in its counting method, so the fans cheered for Kim Jaejoong's album in their own way.
But when the results came out, the album wasn't even in the TOP50.
Especially since in this case, the first place can be changed. Even if Kim Jaejoong's broadcast score is excluded (zero), his overall score is higher than the group currently in 1st place.
This is roughly calculated by using the score of 000 from January 4th Week K-chart 1st place singer.
000 albums sold: Total Album Sales During Counting period = 000 physical Score : K-chart total physical score = 5,000: x = 279 : 1000. We can see that the total album sales were around 181,159 albums during the counting period, based on this, Kim Jaejoong's album score is calculated as follows Sales rate/Total Album Sales Volume * 10000 = Physical Score = (86,600/181,159)×10000= 4,780 is Kim Jaejoong's January 4th week score. It can be assumed that the overall score was about 4,780. Therefore, this is about 200 points higher than the 4,594 1st place group (total K-chart score).
As many people are questioning, in the viewer consultation room, the reply that was sent to us [It is only reflected in the K-chart when it is ranked in the 200th weekly chart of five major sound source sites] by the staff. However, these new standards can't be found anywhere on the homepage, and we don't know when they have been applied since and how.
The ranking details announced on the Music bank site: Music Bank K-Chart Counting Method
Digital Music Source 65% + Physical Sale 5% + Broadcast count 20% + viewer preference survey 10%. So the contents of the answer made by the staff about digital sound sources in one-on-one inquiry are not known at all.
Since the music market has changed, there will also be changes in the ranking method. However, it's unfair to change the way the charts work in closed doors and put the blame on people who haven't noticed it, K-POP fans from all over the world are watching. When arbitrary changes benefit some but are a disadvantage to others, that's why there should be a standard to prevent corruption.
If this didn't start with bad intentions, we ask KBS to revise based on the standard criteria and repost the ranking of the 4th week of January on its website, and along with the accuracy of the chart, we ask for an apology to viewers through the press. ''
In the past Kim Jaejoong's other songs like 'Just Another Girl' and 'Love you more' contended for 1st place on KBS Music Bank however this time 'Tender love' the title track of 'Aeyo' wasn't even mentioned. Even non-fans were expecting to see him nominated.

It is so fucking obvious that he would win if he was included that is why those fuckers cheated and excluded him. I swear to god I'm so fucking mad at how unfair this is. I don't even know how Jaejoong (&Junsu) and fans have been putting up with this shit for the last 10 years.
