JYP Entertainment's monster rookies have broken records tonight at the 34th Golden Disc Awards.
ITZY won the Rookie of the Year (ROTY) award making them the Kpop girl group with the most number of ROTY in history which was previously held by (G)I-DLE. The 5-member female group now has a total of 11 Rookie of the Year awards.
ITZY also snagged a Digital Bonsang tonight which earned them a huge achievement that Wonder Girls had set 13 years ago. The two groups from JYP Entertainment are the only Kpop female groups to win a Bonsang with their debut song.

JYPE seems to really have cracked the code for Kpop gg's. Wonder Girls, Miss A, TWICE, now ITZY. Anyway, I'm super excited for their next comeback. I really hope they keep up with the momentum and have a great year this 2020. Congrats girls!
