On July 14, ET Today - a Taiwanese newspaper - reported that the CF for the new product Queen Mojito of KFC China launched on July 1 is criticized for plagiarizing a part of the MV for "DDU-DU DDU-DU" by Blackpink.
As criticisms of local netizens, in the CF of KFC's new product, the image of the female protagonist playing chess after striking poses and showing arrogant emotions when wearing a crown on a pink background is very similar to that of Jennie (Blackpink) in the "DDU-DU DDU-DU" MV released 1 year ago.
In addition, Chinese fans are furious as they have found out the scenes that are similar to Lisa's classroom scene and Rosé's outer space scene.

ET Today also commented on this, "There is no difference except that the person has changed."
Referring to the aforementioned video, a Chinese netizen criticized, "This is no longer a suspicion. From the style to the background in this commercial film look identical to 'DDU-DU DDU-DU'. KFC has plagiarized."

It's pretty obvious that is plagiarism. They didn't even change the background's color and gradient effect...🙃
