Itzy's new song "ICY" soon showed signs of becoming a hit.

The MV of "ICY" by Itzy released at 0:00 (KST) July 29 hit 10 million views at 6:50 pm (KST) on the same day. This achievement was set up within 18 hours since the MV's release.

At 6 pm (KST) July 29, Itzy has released their first mini-album "IT'z ICY", including the title song "ICY". This is a song displaying the image of Itzy members, who seem cold on the outside but actually full of passion. In particular, "ICY" is a cool summer song written and composed by JYP president Park Jin Young for the first time for Itzy.

With all locations filmed in LA (USA), the characteristic of this "ICY" MV is footages overwhelmingly beautiful and full of refreshing along with the members' girl crush appeal. The MV delivered an image of the five girls freely traveling around LA with brilliant visuals, combined with a pleasant beat to blow away the oppressive heat, powerful and dynamic dance break and groovy dance.

The 4th generation girl group Itzy of JYP Entertainment - which is the "reputable girl group training center", officially debuted on February 12, 2019 with the first single "IT'z Different" and the title track "DALLA DALLA". The MV of the debut song "DALLA DALLA" reached 10 million views after 18 hours since its release and 100 million views after 57 days. This is the record of being the fastest newly debuted K-pop girl group to hit 100 million views.

After "DALLA DALLA", Itzy is expected to have a second consecutive hit when the new song "ICY" has quickly reached 10 million views. Currently, fans are interested in the new records the girls will create with this product.
