Reportedly, because having not received the money yet, Park conducted civil proceedings then sealed Shoo's house.
Shoo side is affirming that Park has lent money to the singer for gambling purposes, so this is an act with illegal causes (Article 746 Civil Law stipulates that lenders are not allowed to claim reimbursement if the amount of money is used for illegal causes), and accordingly, she has no reason to pay him back. In addition, Shoo added that Park also requested a loan interest rate of up to 1800%. However, Park side said that the two's transaction place was a casino which was licensed by the government, and he never asked for an interest rate of 1800%.
Being entangled in suspicion of frequent gambling with the amount of up to 790 million won at a location in Macao from August 2016 to May 2018, Shoo had to stand trial in February. The female singer was sentenced to 6 months in prison, suspended the enforcement 2 years, and 80 hours of public service.
