In the showcase debut of unit EXO-SC, Chanyeol (EXO) told fans about his undergoing vocal cord surgery.

The showcase marking the release of the first mini-album "What a life" of EXO-SC was broadcast on Naver V App on the evening of July 22.

During the show, Chanyeol has made fan surprise when sharing, "During the preparation process for this album, I had surgery due to the cyst in the larynx. Fortunately, the surgery was performed so well that even the doctor was surprised."

The male idol smiled and reassured the fans, "The recovery was quite fast. I also did vocal exercises and sang a lot."

At present, Chanyeol and EXO members are ongoing with their 5th concert named "EXO Planet #5 - EXplOration" including 6 shows taking place at KSPO Dome, Songpa, Seoul. Today, on July 22, EXO's new unit EXO-SC including Chanyeol and Sehun released their first album "What A Life".
