Top idol group BTS (RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook) achieved the record of entering the Billboard 200 chart for 11 consecutive weeks.

According to the latest chart announced by Billboard on July 2 (US time), BTS's album "MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA" out on April 12 took No.52 of Billboard 200 (by July 6, 2019).

"MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA" is BTS's third album that topped the Billboard 200 chart. Earlier, two albums "LOVE YOURSELF 結 'Answer'" and "LOVE YOURSELF 轉 'Tear'" successively claimed first place then remained on the chart for a long time.

As a result, "MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA" carried on the accomplishment of staying on Billboard 200 for 11 weeks in a row.

After entering Billboard 200 for the first time with the top position, "MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA" continued to have its name at No.3 (week 2), No.7 (week 3), No. 8 (week 4) ), No.17 (week 5), No.21 (week 6), No.26 (week 7), No.31 (week 8), No.38 (week 9), and No.46 (week 10).

Besides, LOVE YOURSELF 結 'Answer'" - the album that was successful in re-entering the Billboard 200 chart - also made a surprising leap and ranked 108th at the same time, thereby gaining the achievement of remaining on the chart for 43 weeks in total. The album reached No.1 on the Billboard 200 chart for the first time in the first week of its release in September 2018, then gradually fell to No.115 by March 30, 2019, No.111 by April 6, 2019, and unfortunately failed to make it to the chart on April 13, 2019. However, the album successfully turned the table when landing at No.65 on the Billboard 200 chart dated April 20.

Last week, the "LOVE YOURSELF 結 'Answer'" album landed at No.180 of the chart.
