JTBC's 'Spotlight' is shedding light on YG Entertainment's drug scandal plaguing it's celebrities.

The investigative program, hosted by Lee Kyu-yeon, obtained messages about iKON B.I's alleged drug use that showed signs that the singer smoked marijuana and attempted to purchase LSD. At that time, however, the police didn't summon B.I.

The program spoke to Bang Jung-hyun, the lawyer behind Jung Joon Young's "golden phone" who defended 'A' who released the messages about B.I. Lawyer Bang said, "at first, he thought it was a simple drug case but after 'A' reversed her statements during the 3rd round of questioning 8 days later, he found the report to be very suspicious."

The 'Spotlight' team secretly met with the informants twice and will reveal what happened in the eight days during which 'A' changed her testimony.

The informant also revealed details about B.I's alleged drug scandal and YG's systematic cover-up through an exclusive interview with the PD team. The producers also obtained explanations from YG on what happened on the 7th floor that day three years ago on August 2016.

This episode of 'Spotlight' is scheduled to air on JTBC on June 20th at 9:30pm KST.
