In light of his upcoming solo comeback with single "Gwichanist", Block B's Park Kyung sat down for a roundtable interview with press.
During the interview, Park Kyung once again clarified that his fellow Block B member Zico is not leaving the group. Back in November of last year, all of the members of Block B chose to renew their contracts with Seven Seasons, while Zico chose to establish his own label, KOZ Entertainment. Park Kyung assured, "Many people misunderstood and thought that Zico was leaving Block B, but it's more just like he's 'moving out of the house'. The situation couldn't help but cause misunderstandings. But Zico and I have been friends since elementary school, and all of the members are very close. We recently held a meeting about how we could stand in front of fans agains as Block B."
He added on, "The fans want to see us as a full group the most, so this is a very important homework assignment for us. We're not sure how it'll work out, whether it'll be through new music, a concert, or a fan meeting."
Meanwhile, Park Kyung's newest solo single "Gwichanist" will be out this May 23 at 6 PM KST! The song is dedicated to all the lazy people of the world, a track made up of unique instrument sounds.
In Block B we trust!
