Two former early 2000's idol stars are getting married!
On May 8, former idol Paran's Ace (Choi Sung Wook) and former girl group member CATS's Kim Ji Hye both took to their personal Instagram accounts to deliver news of their marriage.
Ace wrote, "After debuting as Paran in 2005, I met my fiancée in 2006. A dreamlike event of marrying your first love has happened to me... After dating for a while, we parted ways, then met up again after 10 years, resulting in marriage vows. Because it's this friend, because I felt that I could not [marry] anyone except this friend, I decided on marriage."
Kim Ji Hye also revealed, "I am marrying my first love from 13 years ago. We met at a young age as Paran's Ace and CATS's Kim Ji Hye, and started things off lightly, almost like play. After dating and fighting like any other young couple for about 1.5-2 years, we broke up and after that, he remained my closest best male friend for the past 10 years, protecting me. Staying friends for a long time, we became each other's allies through thick and thin and one day, he became someone very important to me."
Ace debuted as a member of Paran in 2015, before switching gears as a musical actor. Kim Ji Hye debuted in 2006 through SBS's 'Selection Couple', then kicked off her singing career as a member of CATS in 2007.
Congratulations to the couple on their marriage! The two will be holding a wedding ceremony this June 7. Check out their gorgeous wedding photos below!
