According to reports on April 17, rookie actor Kim Dong Hee of 'SKY Castle' and web drama 'A-Teen' has landed his first male lead role for an upcoming 'Netflix' Korean drama.
Insiders told media outlets, "Kim Dong Hee has been cast as the male lead of 'Human 101' as the character Ji Soo." The drama tells the story students in their teens and their daily lives, going to school, tutoring school, returning home, etc. An ordinary high schooler named Ji Soo begins to change as a person after meeting a new friend, Gyu Ri. Of course, the drama will also address popular teen obsessions, analyzing the current trends among teens with precision.
Meanwhile, after the successful launch of the first ever 'Netflix' K-drama 'Kingdom' last year, the content platform has delved into several new projects including 'Because It's My First Love' premiering this week, 'School Nurse Ahn Eun Young', and more.
Kim Dong Hee's label JYP Entertainment has yet to confirm the news.
