According to media reports on April 12, MBC has also decided to place a broadcast ban on controversial figures Jung Joon Young, Seungri, and Jonghun. 

Previously, KBS announced a temporary ban on the above stars from all broadcasts for an indefinite period of time. Following KBS, a representative from MBC also revealed, "After deliberation from internal figures, it was decided that the broadcasting station will ban Jung Joon Young from all broadcast appearances period since after the end of last month; regarding Seungri and Choi Jonghun, the broadcasting station will place a temporary ban." 

The rep continued, "Jung Joon Young's definite ban has been decided due to the fact that he has been convicted of his charges. In Seungri and Choi Jonghun's cases, it was too early to announce a definite ban as their investigations are ongoing; still, the temporary ban was decided due to the severity of the situation."
