Song Da Eun is denying that she is involved in any way with the Burning Sun scandal after it was revealed the actress previously operated Seungri's hip-hop lounge bar Monkey Museum.
On March 18, the 'Heart Signal 2' actress's agency Ianent released a statement to the press, announcing: "Song Da Eun worked at Monkey Museum for roughly a month during its opening, but she has no relation to Burning Sun."
Last year, Song Da Eun took to her personal Instagram account to reveal that she was helping Seungri open Monkey Museum, as he was someone that she had been friendly with since her school days.
However, when she was mentioned as someone who could potentially be involved in the Burning Sun scandal, her agency revealed that the actress is currently "suffering from material and mental harm" from the impact of the speculations, adding that they will be collecting data to figure out who is circulating this false information and may consider strong legal action if the rumors continue.

There should not be guilt by association unless she knew the details of the case. I think that many women have male friends who they'd never date because they like to be with a lot of women but their male friends treat them well so they don't cut them off. I'm not talking about men's who lie to get women but who are open with the people around them that they are that way.
And people change and they surprise you. I've had male friends in their 50s shock the heck out of me. Do things like cheat on their wives after 30 years of marriage. And bold forms of cheating like bringing the other woman in to his home while his wife was gone. Of course cheating is not even close to these cases but in one case I thought the friend was a straight as one could get.
If you go to Seungri's instragram you will see hundreds if not thousands of people interacting with him joking with him from kids to older adults and pictures of people in organizations he must have supported. I flipped back through pictures and videos to about 2014. There are even American artists interacting with him and one person is famous who has collaborated with other Korean artists. This is like a spider web that not all people stuck in it are going to be guilty.
