Jung Joon Young has been arrested for filming and distributing sex tapes without consent.
On March 21, Jung Joon Young attended his hearing at Seoul's Central District Court office, and after 2 hours of questioning, the prosecuting attorney found the arrest warrant requested by police on the 18th was valid. In his letter of apology he read to the press before his hearing, the singer confessed to filming women without their consent and sharing the footage with members of the controversial chatroom, which included Seungri and former F.T. Island member Jonghun as members.
Jung Joon Young was previously investigated for hidden camera footage in November of 2018 and in 2016, but with the suspected tampering of evidence, the charges were dropped.
