Hit SM Entertainment lyricist JQ is getting married to his non-celebrity girlfriend this September!

JQ is well-known among SM fans as a lyricist, a rap teacher for SM idols, as well as a hip-hop/R&B soloist. The artist leads a lyricist team called Makeumine Works, and has written lyrics for countless SM group hits. Just last year, his chart topping lyrics included Red Velvet's "Bad Boy", Shaun's "Way Back Home", Baekhyun & LOCO's "Young", and EXO's "Tempo". 

On February 8, JQ delivered news of his successful proposal to his girlfriend during their trip to Bali via Instagram. He wrote, "I've met someone whom I want walk alongside forever, looking up toward the same goal together. Four seasons have gone since we started our relationship, and I became certain that if it were this person, I would be able to walk on the right path. As a result, I decided to propose, and my proposal was a great success during our trip!"
