TWICE opened up about their image.
On the January 31 airing of Mnet's 'Super Intern,' the interns had 2019 production consulting with TWICE.
After listening to the interns' presentations, leader Jihyo asked, "What image do you think TWICE should develop in 2019?" and shared, "The members have many discussions on our bright and cute image."
She continued, "As we enter our 5th year, we wonder if people will get tired of it."
Intern Lee Jung Bin commented, "You never get tired of a close friend even after 10 years. The background is the only thing that's changing. The main essences are TWICE's wish to approach fans and develop a friendship." J.Y. Park criticized the statement, saying, "You didn't carefully consider TWICE's concern."

Twice have done well with that image thus far but it will get a little more.... difficult maybe (?) as they grow older. With age comes maturity (for most) and the older they get the less likely they are going to want to act cutesy like young girls. However, the public may not like a change of concept so it will certainly be a fine line to walk for them.
