JTBC has already revealed audio of verbal abuse by Media Line Entertainment CEO Kim Chang Hwan, and another video of The East Light's promotions may reveal more insight into the abuse the band's members were suffering. The video above from November of 2017 features a vlog of the group's daily schedule, and around 38 seconds, member Lee Suk Chul can be heard saying, "It was a mistake."
He repeats himself, and it sounds as if he's being hit with something as he adds, "It hurts." After a while, the other members look over, and Lee Eun Sung explains, "On the way here, Suk Chul was playing music in the car and opened the sunroof without starting the engine and doing as he pleased, so the car's battery died. He's being disciplined by our manager."
The video later cuts out, and a message states it was deleted at the request of the agency.
As previously reported, The East Light members, who are all minors, were revealed to be suffering physical and verbal abuse at the hands of their agency CEO and former producer according to testimony by Lee Suk Chul.
