Shortly after news reports claiming that Wanna One's Ong Seong Wu was cast in his first male lead drama role for next year, representatives from the idol's label Fantagio stepped up with a brief response.

Fantagio commented, "Currently, Ong Seong Wu is promoting as a member of Wanna One. He has no confirmed plans for what's afterward."

Previously, media outlets reported that Ong Seong Wu was cast in a high school drama 'Eighteen' (working title), set to premiere some time next July.

He has no plans or is it Fantagio has no plans because I'm sure he "does" have plans and perhaps they don't involve Fantagio if he's smart.

If his contract with Fantagio is only as long as he's in Wanna One he should jump ship like so many of Fantagio's actors and staff since that company is such a mess at the moment.
