Park Hae Mi publicly took responsibility for her husband Hwang Min's fatal DUI case.
Hwang Min refused to take legal representation following the fatal DUI that killed two people and injured three, including himself, when he drove a car into a 25-ton truck on the side of the road. Though Park Hae Mi took a short hiatus, she's now returned to the musical 'Oh! Carol'.
The actress said through the musical production company, "Although I haven't been able to take complete moral responsibility for those who were injured in the accident, I definitely have not forgotten about it, and I'll take total responsibility for it. I sincerely apologize once again. Though I haven't finished dealing with the ordeal, I decided to stand on the stage again so I wouldn't be burdening those I love or anyone else. I temporarily suspended my activities, and I'll definitely stand up again with the weight I have to endure. I'm truly grateful to all of my fellow actors, staff, production staff, and audience for waiting among all the support."
