Back on July 1, Whee In caused a stir online by referencing Typhoon Prapiroon while promoting MAMAMOO's new single, "Rainy Season". As the controversy grew bigger, Whee In decided to relay a word of apology to all who were affected by her post. She shared, "I want to deliver my sincerest apologizes to those who suffered and felt discomfort from my ignorant and careless post. I will do my best to think seriously and carefully from here on."
Meanwhile, MAMAMOO are set to make a comeback with their 7th mini album 'Red Moon' on July 16.
