The ministry of culture, sports and tourism commented on BTS' astounding impact on the economy.

In an interview with 'Sege Ilbo', Do Jong Hwan, the minister of the South Korean ministry of culture, sports, and tourism, talked about BTS' notable influence on the economy. To a question regarding the current 'hallyu' policy, Do Jong Hwan commented:

"When Psy was active, the economic effect amounted up to about 1 trillion won (~$896M). I predict that BTS will easily surpass 1 trillion won. Bae Yong Joon, through the drama 'Winter Sonata', created an economic value of about 3 trillion won. But when BTS was ranking 1st (on Billboard), the nation did nothimg. So, there is something that the nation must do. The country needs to foster many creative talents and help thicken the stratum of creative artists. The nation must connect the right mentors for young individuals and provide the necessary time and space for them to work properly."

According to the section, the discussion stressed the importance of national support for artists like BTS, as they increase the brand value of the country through successful dramas and music.

How do you envision BTS' future, in terms of brand value?
