On July 4, reports said Hwang Woo Seul Hye has been dating a businessman one year her junior for the past 3 months. They're said to have started dating after being introduced by a mutual friend, and the business owner is reported to treat and take care of her very well.

In response, Hwang Woo Seul Hye's label Huayi Brothers Korea confirmed she was indeed dating a businessman younger than her.
