Block B's Park Kyung opened up regarding his current situation as a musician.
On June 22, Park Kyung sat down with X Sports News to talk about his impending comeback, as well as his future prospects as a solo and as a Block B member.
Above all, he expressed gratitude regarding the fact that he could continue to release solo songs. "I did not expect to receive this huge amount of love," shared Park Kyung. "The feel of this new song, however, is something out of the ordinary for me. Most people are probably expecting another love song, but I hope they can also accept a different kind of music genre from me as well."
Regarding Block B's contract, the idol replied that they "have not talked about it yet." However, he was firm to express that he would like his solo activities to be considered completely separate from Block B's. "As a solo, I get to do the things that I cannot do as a Block B member." He also added that he would like to promote on music programs "only as Block B," since he considers that's when he gets to shine "most brightly" as a team.
On another note, Park Kyung revealed that a program that recently grabbed his attention was, quite surprisingly, 'Produce 101'. "I was 'jealous' when I saw the trainees receive songs from the producers, and when they got to design and prepare the stages on their own," he shared. "I feel like that would be an amazing opportunity for anyone."
In other news, Park Kyung's 4th single album 'Instant' is set to release on June 22 at 6 PM KST. Are you excited to see a new side of Park Kyung?
