fromis_9's Jang Gyuri is reportedly appearing on 'Produce 48'.
According to Sports Chosun's exclusive report on May 4, Jang Gyuri is one of the contestants competing on the upcoming Mnet girl group competition show.
In January, Jang Gyuri made her debut as a member of fromis_9; the girl group with the trainees from 'Idol School'. She's reportedly joining another competition show after 3 months of debut.
fromis_9 is under CJ E&M's sub-label Stone Music Entertainment. The contract term for 'Produce 48' girl group is 2 years and 6 months. Jang Gyuri is reportedly allowed to concurrently promote in the two groups.

In response to the report, a rep from Mnet stated, "It's difficult to say anything about the contestants. Please check on the broadcast."
The first episode of 'Produce 48' is set to air in June.
