'Coffeesmith' CEO Son Tae Young has withdrawn his lawsuit against actress and ex-girlfriend Kim Jung Min.
On May 4, Son Tae Young posted on Instagram, "I apologize for causing such a disturbance due to my legal issues with Kim Jung Min. It wasn't something that should've gotten this big, but I regret the fact that this incident hurt the other party. I ask for your understanding. I'll look forward to actress Kim Jung Min's good activities. I'll focus on my business from now on and try to show a good image."
As previously reported, Son Tae Young is said to have blackmailed Kim Jung Min with an alleged sex tape after they broke up in 2014. Kim Jung Min reportedly returned a total of 160 million Won (~$139,000 USD) as well as gifts she received during the relationship as he claimed he wanted to recoup the money he spent while dating her. She then filed a lawsuit against him for defamation of character, and he filed a counter suit.
The long legal battle is now reported to have come to an end.
